Paint Stripping / Powder Coating stripping, is the most undesirable but the most unavoidable process in any paint shop and maintenance Workshop. However ; Since Under coat corrosion always poses very serious threat to the equipments life as well as Pipe-line and equipment failures, acompanied by substantial financial losses and downtime of the equipments, it is essential to STRIP OFF the
Old paint , and revamp the equipments with new and many a times ADVANCE Paint coats.
Removalof Old paint is very laborious process and the other viable alternatives viz, Chipping,
Burning , Grinding etc are very dangerous, mostly incomplete & harmful to environment
This is more so, when it comes to removal of MULTIPLE Coats / Advanced Paints / CRPs.

Promtech has developed Two Types of Excellent, User Friendly, Environment friendly and PAINTS STRIPERS Confirming to IS 430 and 431. These products are used by ( a) DIPPING & (b) BRUSHING Process. These products BREAK THROUGH the Resin/Binder Film & dislodge the Paint Powder Film;
along with the other ingradients of the Paint Film. The Paint/Varnish/Powder Coating stripping time will be between 2 Minutes to 30 min. depending on the number of coats / Film Thickness, Baking Temperature and Baking Period adapted while curing & Life of Paint Film. For Multiple coats & Hooks, Hangers, Paint Shop Attachments ; Hangers & Suspenders etc, dipping STRIPPING period
shall be ranging from 30 Minutes to Four Hours or even longer.

UNISTRIP – D : Paint Stripper used by dipping process. Unistrip - D is a reddish brown liquid , and is a blend of Hydrocarbon solvents , and chemicals , having very high penetration & cutting power for the various types of Paints and Varnishes , lacquers and organic coatings. Unistrip – D is to be used as supplied , without dilution. It is extremely suited for small components, Paints shop hooks, conveyer attachments, frames etc. The paint stripping time shall be generally 5 to 30 minutes, and will be dependant on the number of Coats of Primer / Putty / Surfacers and finish paints. The stripped of paint can be removed by a jet of water, and wiped with dry cloth / cotton waste. Unistrip – D tank shall always be kept closed to minimize the losses due to evaporation. Prolonged exposure of Unistrip – D to the atmosphere will reduce the stripping property of the product. Use of Rubber Gloves ,Safety Shoes , Face Shield and Rubber approns MUST be used by the operators. Normal safety measures shall be exercised while using this product.
 
UNISTRIP – B : Paint Stripper used by Brushing process. Unistrip - B is a clear to coloured viscous Gel type free flowing liquid and can be applied by brush for the removal of single to multiple layers of paints. Unistrip – B is a blend of Hydrocarbon solvents , thickners and chemicals , having very high penetration & cutting power for the various types of Paints and Varnishes ,
lacquers and organic coatings. Unistrip – B is to be used as supplied , without dilution. It is extremely suited for Automobiles, Buses, Ships , Locomotives, bridges , towers & pipilines etc. Unistrip – B can also be used for cleaning of Paints shop hooks, conveyer attachments, frames etc which have multiple coats of Paints. The paint stripping time shall be generally 15 to 45 minutes, and will be dependant on the number of Coats of Primer / Putty / Surfacers and finish paints. The stripped of paint can be removed by a wooden / Mild steel scrapper. The loosened paint films shall roll off with the scrapper movement. Unistrip – B has a very slow drying action and will always keep the removed paint in wet condition so as to make scrapping very easy. Repeated application of Unistrip – B may be done if found necessary. Unistrip – B in Non-Flammable and confirms to the requirements of IS 430 & IS 431. Normal safety measures shall be exercised while using this product.
