CYANIDE & CHROMIUM Effluent Treatment Chemicals:
CHLORITEN : CHLORITEN is a specially formulated Sodium Hypochlorite based chemical extremely useful for the process of total destruction of simple and complex cyanides. Industrial waste waters emanating from Electroplating plants; Heat Treatment plants. Cyanides in simple and Complex forms are totally neutralized into Carbon-Dioxide and Nitrogen by Oxidation process, by addition of calculated dosage of CHLORITEN.
CYANIDE NEUTRALIZATION PROCESS: The complete Neutralization of Cyanide is carried out at a pH 10+; and by addition of calculated quantities of CHLORITEN ; and allowing to react for 2 to 3 Hrs. Air Oxidation by blowing compressed air helps total churning and result in faster neutralization reactions.
ADVANTAGES OF USE OF CHLORITEN: Handling of CHLORITEN is extremely easy, dosing is simple. There is no dusting, no need to adjust the pH of the effluent. The reaction goes to completion within specified time limits. Chloriten is extremely safe for workmen. There is No evolution of any toxic Toxic Gases during neutralization.
